The scope of work included inputs into Environmental Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) as well as development of the Critical Habitat Assessment (CHA), Biodiversity Management Plan(s), and Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) in line with international lender’s requirements (IFC, ADB, EBRD).
Key issues included collision risk management for birds and bats, as well as no net-loss and net-positive gain impacts on priority and critical species.
BioConserve supported the development of detailed management and monitoring programs, inclusive of relocation protocols, Shut-down on Demand (SDOD) and cut-in curtailment programs.
BioConserve provided in-depth advisory for the developer in determining the best mitigative approaches for identified biodiversity risks, taking into account CAPEX, OPEX and energy generation requirements throughout the financial disclosure process.
